After update today, obs is not running when I click on the icon. Can you help?

After updating obs today, obs is not running when I click on the icon. Can you help?
I completely uninstalled and then re-installed. but no change at all. I see the icon on the screen. But when I click on it, nothing happens. what is going on?
 
This is usually caused by out of date 3rd party plugins, such as obs-websockets or StreamFX.
 
Now, I think I understand plugin. Because I am a real novice of IT including OBS. I didn't do anything to OBS. I just install it and use it as it is. I never add or plug in any software? I Just simply updated today since it requests.
I removed and installed repeatedly, shut down computer and started again. No change at all. I am so frustrated, not knowing what to do. It seems the problem is unique to my laptop. My laptop is new, bought 3 month ago.
Please help me!!!
 
Uninstall OBS
Then go here and download the previous version 25.0.8. Click on the Assets link to drop down the files, download and then reinstall

... to do that makes no sense, so please make sure before you offer an UPDATE that it works and that this glitch does not happen again. Otherwise there are certainly very good alternatives to OBS that we should use. Thank you
