My recordings look glitchy/laggy
Layman's Terms I'm new to this type of talkPost a logfile from a recording session where the problem was happening. We need it to troubleshoot. Why it says to include one when you create a new thread in the Support section.
Sorry, just had time to check the forums again. There is a pinned topic at the top of the Windows Support forum with full instructions on how to access and post a logfile. Essentially you go to the Help menu, Log Files, upload current/last. Current is the current session, last is the last time OBS was opened and closed.How do I open a log file?
Thanks I’ll try thatThe recording in that logfile doesn't seem to have any OBS performance issues indicated. Watching the recording back, was the glitching present? If not, we need a logfile from a session when the problem was happening to get good diagnostic data.
You ARE recording using CBR though, which is the worst method for local recording. Switch to CQP or CRF instead.
