Question / Help Advice/Suggestion on a capture card

Hello Everyone,

So I recently bought a HD60 which has amazing quality. But is terrible for streaming with third-party applications like OBS. The delay is extremely annoying the sound never syncs with video and vice-versa. However I'm going to get a refund back and was wondering what you guys would suggest. There are two capture cards that I'm thinking of getting.

AVermedia ExtremeCap U3: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=1970559082&pf_rd_i=desktop

or

AVerMedia Game Recorder C985: http://www.amazon.com/AVerMedia-Recorder-C985-Capture-Stream/dp/B007UXJ6LE/ref=pd_cp_pc_3

Now one does 1080p60Fps and the other one does 1080p30Fps. I'm primarily going to be streaming more than I'll be recording. I'll be streaming 720p60FPS. And will MOSTLY be used on consoles like PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

What do you guys think? Thank you.

Can't comment on the c985 but i own the extremecap u3. It's a good card for the money and there is no lag at all.
If your PC is powerfull enough i'd go with the u3.

A PCIe card is the way to go and the C985 will work fine. If 1080p60 is an absolute requirement (doesn't sound like it is) then look at importing a Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI from Solaris Japan. Please don't buy a USB capture device unless you have to.

This is what I was leaning towards too. 1080p60 won't mean much to me, so C985 will be my choice. Thank you.

I believe my PC is strong enough. I have a fx-8350, 970 and 16gb RAM which is more than what the requirement is. However I think an internal capture card would be a better for me down the road. Even though I hear the U3 is great. Thanks for the input.
