Guys, first post and I have done a bit of looking around but want to canvas opinions on the best set-up for a particular use.
I have a satellite receiver from which I get a channel that I would like to be able to watch on my phone or laptop when out of the house. The receiver has digital and analogue outputs and for a couple of reasons it would be easier if I was to use the analog.
I am looking this as a solution - using an Hauppauge USB stick into which I will cable the analogue signal, and then the OBS software to enable me to access it via the Internet.
Am I looking at the best solution? Is there different low cost hardware that's better for the purpose, and is OBS suitable or not optimal in this case?
