Hi, so i have had a fiddle around and i can't seem to get the right balance between good quality and performance.

I am currently running

MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Armor OC 8GB

Intel i5-7600k

8gb DDR4 Ram

169mbps Download

12mbps upload.

Anyone have any suggestions as to which settings i should have?

Current OBS settings

Output
Encoder - x264
rescale output -1280x720
rate control - CBR
Bitrate - 2000

Kf Int - 2
CPU preset - veryfast

Video
Base Res - 1920x1080
Output - 1280x720
Downscale Filter - Lanczos
FPS - 60

Any help would be great, thanks.

uncheck rescale output in output settings, than set the bitrate to 6000, after that you should get a good looking stream.

Because your a new streamer, keep the bitrate at 2500, anything above may be useless unless you're partnered, or have transcoding in your stream.

720p60 with 2000kbps CANT LOOK GOOD (for streaming) -> increase bitrate: 3500kbps is minimum for medium looking 720p60
