Hi everyone,
For my local sportsclub, we are livestreaming our matches with OBS. We have been doing this on a macbook pro (2015), using 2 iPhones as cameras. This is fine for us. However:
At this point our sportsclub is looking to buy a new laptop. They are very nice in concidering our needs (we also DJ and organise parties and online bingo's at the club) and asked us to look for a good laptop, without giving us an exact budget. My guess is that the budget will be around EUR. 1.000,-
We would like to stream and be able to replay goals (replay last 10 seconds streamed). We use confetti effects (greenscreen) and intro/outro videos. We stream in 720, but really would like to go to 1080 within 2 years (relocating, better internet connection).
What do we need to keep in mind? We didn't really 'choose' the macbook we are using at this moment.
When I google this, I mostly find advise for streaming gaming. We do not need to play a game whilst streaming.So I get confused about the GPU vs. CPU quality advice I find. Can you guys help me look in the right direction?
