In OBS, click "Settings", then select the "Audio" settings. Under "Global Audio Devices" you will usually see
Desktop Audio (sounds made by Windows apps, such as when you play an MP3 file etc.)
Mic/Aux Audio, which is probably your laptop mic
Mic/Aux 2 (and 3 and 4). These may be "Disabled". If so, drop the list, see if your camera's mic is there, and select it.
Close Setting, and the Audio Mixer dock in OBS should show faders for all of your audio channels. Some may be turned down or muted. Make sure your camera's mic is turned up and not muted.
