Adobe Flash Player + Game capture

Hello everyone,

Let's start to say i love OBS!!
But it would be more great if you can use game capture with a standalone Flash Player.

I play sometimes a game called FFR in a Flash Player standalone, but i can't use game capture for that window.
As workaround i use monitor capture, because i stream with Aero disabled.
Here is the thread about the Flash Player standalone: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz ... p?t=120256

I use Flash Player 9, because if i use a higher version the game will crash.

My question: Is it possible to add support for Flash Player standalone players for game capture.

Greetings,
Helixia

The Browser Source plugin is pretty powerful...you should check it out, though I'm not sure it will do *exactly* what you're looking for: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3284

I'm going to try that plugin tonight.

Can you not just window capture the Flash Player Standalone?

I thought there is lag when you use window capture with Aero disabled?
And with Aero disabled i'm not using window capture at the full capcity, because i'm not only capturing the window.
Either way with window capture and monitor capture i'll get the same effect.

@dodgepong Thanks for the awesome plugin!! This is a awesome tool if you do a duo stream!!
But unfortunate i can't use it to play FFR.

The plugin doesn't do what the game capture function does.

Is there a problem with using Monitor capture? You say you're using it as a "workaround"...why would that not just be the normal way of capturing it? As long as Aero is disabled, using Monitor Capture should be fine.
