Question / Help Adobe Audition + Mic = Problems >.<

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out why Adobe Audition is causing problems for my mic input and if I can't fix it, what would be an alternative to get the most out of my microphone?

I use a Samson co1u microphone and I was following this guide to increase the quality and remove background noises but it seems to have worsened the output : https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/microphone-cleanup-with-adobe-audition-and-vac.7/

Using Adobe Audition : http://www.twitch.tv/ggloner/b/540820898
Without Adobe Audition : http://www.twitch.tv/ggloner/b/540825862

The settings I used for Adobe Audition are :
Latency : 50
Sample Rate : 48k
Adaptive Noise Reduction : Default

My log is as follows : https://gist.github.com/440d8212f41514669c67

At first I was wondering if it was because of my CPU usage (normally when I use OBS it usually stays around 70~100%, mainly 100%) since Audition needs CPU as well.

However when playing 'Unholy Heights' (which according to Windows Task Manager lowered CPU requirements to ~30%), I figured I could use it only to have this still happening.

Is there something I am doing wrong? (Also are my stream settings optimal or is it still too much for my CPU since I'm constantly around 100% on task manager? >.<)

If it is some other issue (which makes it unsolvable), is there anything else I can use to make my microphone clearer and remove background noise?

There might be an issue with the audio code itself that causes more background noise than intended, though I have not been able to verify.

Thanks for the quick reply Jim, =D

I'll just use my mic without Adobe for now (hopefully someone will know what the problem is >.<) though I am wondering why there is an increasing delay when using it (Log : 368~388 | 573 598).
