Disclaimer: It's not a very high spec PC, but I'd like to know if there's anything I can do...
We use Zoom Rooms to get a sort of "connection" between the coffee areas within the company. Great idea, really. :)
Just for fun, I'm trying to overlay a browser source on that webcam. I've made a sound meter using a NodeMCU and a breakout board, and there's a simple web server on the NodeMCU witch updates as fast as it can (only the text):
Using OBS Studio with one camera maximised and the OBS Virtual Camera to Zoom Rooms results in a 4-5% CPU usage for OBS Studio, and everything is fine. However, if I add that simple web page it uses 35-40%, which results in the computer sounding like a jet engine.
What can I do to reduce the CPU usage for a simple browser overlay?
