Adding audio to a pre recorded video and I get pixellation

I have a video recorded off my cell phone and I think it's 30FPS. I put the video on my Windows PC and it plays back perfectly using VLC with no pixellations.
I then use OBS to kill the original video sound and add my own music soundtrack and record it using OBS. The result has bad pixellations. I am sure I have done similar to other videos from my phone without this issue.

OBS is set under Video to run 6-0FPS, but I tried it set to 30 FPS with the same results. What should I be looking to change please?

PC is running an AMD Ryzen 5950X with 32GB of RAM. Video card is an elderly GTX1070

Is pixellations a word? I hope so.... :)

Thanks for any help.

Don't use OBS to record that video again, it will significantly worsen its quality. Instead, use audio postprocessing tools to edit/work with just the audio track.
