Question / Help Adding a image to the black bars?

Hey there!

I have some problems adding a image for my black bars on my stream at twitch.tv, I'm playing with 1024x768 resolution and I'm streaming with 1024x768 and I have no problem doing so, I just want to add a image for my stream.

You need to set your base resolution to a 16:9 resolution, such as 1280x720 or 1920x1080. Right now, your base resolution probably matches your monitor's, which isn't what you want.

Yeah, just a little side note to anyone who might be somewhat confused by this:

Setting a custom resolution in Video settings is pretty much telling OBS what size you want to render the scene at, and doesn't necessarily have to be the same as your monitor's resolution.
