Adding a game clock overlay from a live stream in post production

Hi,
I am looking for "proper solution" for adding a game clock in postproduction.
Right now I am streaming hockey games in 1080p60 from my camera via HDMI output and a capture card and OBS (or an Atem Mini Pro) to YouTube. I am also using a browser source (singular.live) to overlay a score bug including game time and penalties. That all works fine so far, but now I would like to also add the overlays to the same match footage that I record in 4k internally on the camera itself.
Right now I am thinking about creating an empty scene with only the browser source overlay and record that to disk. Then I would have to sync and scale that video clip in my editing software in postproduction. Is there a clever way to sync this (using DaVinci)? Something like recording a non visible embedded timestamp from the capture card source with the overlay?
I would really appreciate, if you could point me in any direction.
Thanks for your help!
