Adding a bit you forgot

This is probably not possible, especially on the free version, but is there any way to add a bit to the end of a recorded video.
 
OBS Studio isn't a video editing software and is only available for free, there's no paid version.
You can use any video editor of your choice to accomplish what you're asking for.
 
and still use shure broadcast mic and behringer audio interface. I did try with other software to modify an mp4 i produced using OBS but it was unsuccessful, so I am reduced to using a smart phone which produces inferior audio. Doesn't really matter. There are allways alternatives.
 
I was suggested to use Kdentive as a video editor, FOSS. Does anyone of you here have experience with that? I am a complete newbee in this world. Want to capture FeeCAD drawing processes. I wld appreciate alternative suggestions, if any.
 
Avidemux is great for appending & remuxing files. All files must be the same CODEC to remux or a re-encode will be required. So if the files were recorded with OBS using the same CODEC, they can be appended.

 
Example, the original file is on top. I cut out & saved the parts I wanted & then appended them to get the final "Trimmed" file at the bottom. No re-encode needed, all remux.
