Question / Help Add a pause button in Obs

Please Add a pause button or something in Obs because once I was making a video I was 20 min in and I had to go to the bathroom so I had to stop the recording and do my business. Now I have to recreate that entire video again if there was a pause button or something I would pause the recording then come back and finish the recording. So could you guys add a pause button in the program, It would help a lot thanks.

While I agree that a pause button for recording is handy some times, you could always (re)start recording after you stopped it. In your postprocessing, you can splice the two videos together. About every cutting and postprocessing software is able to do this, even the most minimalist recoding software. You never need to do recordings in one perfect take.
