A way to record multiple audio tracks while in simple mode?

Using simple mode in obs was the best settings option for me because it worked so well and the quality wasnt bad. The issue is now that it cant record multiple audio tracks which sucks. I know I could just switch to advanced mode to then use that but its wayy more laggier and the quality is worse. So i was just wondering if theres a solution to this. Thanks :)

If you use Advanced mode, you're expected to set it how you need and not just take the defaults. It's not really valid to compare the two modes.

If you really need something that only Advanced mode has, then take the time to sit down and puzzle it out. Think through what the labels might mean, google them, ask specifically about that topic, etc. Advanced mode can be made to exactly replicate Simple if you want, or it can be better or worse in any (single) way that you want to describe. (fine detail, motion blur, file size, etc.)

For your direct question here, I think the answer is no. You have to use Advanced mode to get multiple tracks.

As I'm sure you know, you can't just add this and that feature to Simple mode, because then it ceases to be simple. But Advanced mode with *everything* asking to be customized is still a bit much for a lot of people. Maybe an Intermediate mode could be worth having? Probably no more than 3 modes total, because then the mode selection itself has the same problem of "too much" that Advanced mode does.
But in the meantime, learn and use Advanced.
