A VERY VERY SPECIFIC PROBLEM

I need help with this very specific issue I am having.

Been trying to stream from my PC, with a cable connection. Every 5 minutes or so, OBS disconnects and connects automatically.

The cable route is as follows:

Internet > Modem > Router > PC.

I tried connecting the modem directly with the PC, no router in between. THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY.

So, I bought a switch, to route the connection around the router. The problem persists.

I don't know what to do anymore. Tried all other troubleshooting stuff. Nothing worked.

Maybe you have too much plugged into the router... I would try unplugging everything except the cable you stream with and see if the problem goes away...

Unfortunately there is just this on cable plugged in. Everything else is wireless/wifi.

If you only use the router for just your pc just eliminate the router and plug right into the modem.

Smartphones, tablets, notebook, smart tv... everything wireless.

So, eliminate the router and connect your computer directly to the modem...

The modem is 50 meters away. that's why I have this cable coming from there to my room.

So just plug the cable into your PC and not use the router....
If the connections are different see if you can get an adapter to got from the cable to the pc.
Well, you'll have to figure out how to eliminate the router...

or buy a new router ? what type of router use ? and buy a router with prio function so other devices cant steal the bandwitch !
