so I want to start recording my flight simulator flights with some high detailed aircrafts. X - Plane 10. I usually get about 60 FPS when not recording and I don't have anything else open on my computer (full screen) I was just wondering though will OBS lag up my computer in any way when I am recording (IMac) I haven't downloaded it yet and I haven't tried anything like this yet except for recording for youtube and that lagged not too much I got about 30 FPS recording with Quick Time Player. If it does lag the computer is there any way to eliminate the lag or at least lessen it.

Not really sure how well it may work on an imac though; depends on the hardware specs.
