So I just started streaming and am running into a few problems, but I'll start with the camera. I've noticed every time I close OBS I need to add a new camera when I reopen it. At first I thought maybe it was because I unplug it, but it's still just a black screen when I reopen. Today, I could only have a cam on one scene. I'm pretty sure when I was first setting things up to test it and play around that wasn't the case, I could have a scene with just the cam and a gaming scene with the cam in the corner. It sill lists all the old camera sources but there's no picture when I try to re-add them. When I tried to add it to a second scene it was listed in the drop down menu but was just black in the camera view. Any ideas? Thanks.

This could happen if you add the same camera multiple times by creating new capture sources. Windows allows only one access at a time. To get your camera into multiple scenes at the same time, remove all your camera sources except one. Then add them again, but make sure you're adding them with the "add existing" option. This way you're adding more instances of the same source, not new sources, and all instances will have video. You've done it right, if all your camera sources all have the same name.
