Hello!

My name is MavericK and I have been using OBS for a while now, but with problems.

I record, not stream, and when I do, I have my specific settings, having watched videos and asked friends, my recordings always feel as if they are at a low FPS, even with my FPS set at 30.

It is stop-go-stop-go, although most of the time its stopping more than going.

Does anyone have any settings that would help me? (different fps setting, etc. etc.)

MY PC SPECS:
Lenovo Y50 Laptop
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 870
16 GB RAM
Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4700 HQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz 2.40 GHz
64-bit operating system
x64 based processor
Windows 10

Notice, it is not AS BAD for games like Minecraft, but worse for games like WarThunder, CS:GO, Unturned, etc.

Thanks for your help (hopefully) :D

Thats a really high Resolution especially for a Notebook paired with a GTX 860M.

I assume you have another Monitor as Main Monitor connected running with such high Resolution.

Its not Recommended Recording anything far beyong 1440p especially on a mobile CPU in your Case you might be better of using Shadowplay or downscale quite a bit and use other than a 4k Monitor.
