Question / Help 90" webcam rotation and usage of video capture

After using OBS for quite some time streaming games (with a small webcam in the corner) I plan on using the software to stream a live event in about a month. It's an event with speakers, which I want to broadcast as a livestream through Justin.tv on our website.

What I want is divide the screen in 2 parts, roughly 1/3 and 2/3. On the left I want a portrait oriented camera (connected like a webcam) recording the speaker. On the right I want a landscape oriented camera (also imported as a webcam) to give a general overview of the event, film the audience etcetera. Maybe show the slides used during presentations or something (with a camera).

The most important question is:
Is it possible to rotate a video capture 90" from within OBS? Or is there any way to rotate the input on my pc before it's used in OBS?

Secondly:
Are there other (better) ideas to use 2 professional video camera's in OBS than connecting them as a webcam to my computer? Note that I do not plan on purchasing a capture card or other system to convert the camera image...

Thanks for the quick answer Jim!

I too started using it personally to stream my games. However when I was searching for methods to livestream it I could only find programs / websites with very limited functions. Then I figured I could do most of the stuff I wanted in OBS and I'd have an easy to use interface which I already know...

By the way, during testing someone had the brilliant idea of importing a regular 16-9 camera image and just dropping most of it outside of the screen in edit scenes... So simple...

I am gaming in portrait mode and the signal from my capture card gets imputed into my streaming pc horizontal. Being able to ture a source 90 would be awesome unless there is another fix?!?!

Looking for this myself so I can film myself standing up straight. Doesn't seem to be an option unless it's in the capture card or webcam drivers.

No, there is no way to rotate sources 90 degrees, or arbitrarily, in OBS Classic. It's planned for the MP rewrite (eventually).
You've also revived a two-year-old post.
