Hello,

I am looking at live streaming up to 9 webcams, 6 microsoft life camvx2000, 2 microsoft life cam cinema, and 1 logitech c920

Can OBS handle this? Is there any work arounds I need to do to be able to broadcast each cam simultaneously?
or can I just select each camera as a source and arrange them on my display?
We are streaming table top games and want to have cams for each player as well as top views.

Thank You!

OBS can handle that without issues.
But can your computer handle it?

Decoding 9 webcams is taking a alot of CPU power and your USB hub might be overloaded as well if you have not enough bandwidth on it.

the vx2000 are 640x800 the others are HD. I have an I5 with 16gb I can plug each camera directly into the pc, and hub my kb/m is there any usb controller issues i should worry about?

Thanks for the reply!

It's really not a matter of the streaming software. You need to plug in the cams one by one and check if it still works.
The most likely issues will be USB-related (too many ports sharing one connection), so try around and plug the HD cams into different port pairs if possible. You can always lower the resolution if needed or play around with the used encoding (MJPEG etc.)
