Hello guys!

I would like to know if Technically it is worth upgrading a stream to 1080p60fps or would that just be too much for the viewers generally?

My current stream is 720p60fps , here is how it looks : http://www.twitch.tv/hdhazmy/v/8823608

Thought about going for 1080p60fps, but that's only because I like how beautiful it looks, but if it overwhelms the viewers too much then ofc no point.

Please do not take into consideration that I am not a partner, I am interested that even If I would be a partner how many people could actually watch it in source generally?

Until Twitch raises their bitrate limit and rolls out their HTML5 player to everyone I would say it's a waste of your money. I assume you think it looks beautiful because you haven't actually tested it at 3500 Kbps.

CPU usage on a viewer can be up to 50% on some weaker dualcore i3s. Laptops will suffer, mobile phone viewers are a complete no-go. so what you gain is, a pretty picture that not many people will stay to watch.
