Hey guys , so i've been trying to get my stream to run smoothly without any viewers lagging but still have a decent quality , i looked up some tutorials and also asked streamers , they all said that i should downscale from 1920x1080 to 1280x720p which they had , and their stream looked really cool. But i tried this and followed their setting exactly like they had , but when i stream everything gets so blurry and the quality is really really bad , you cant watch that , no way. Ive been having this trouble for a few days now and ive tried different settings. (turned off cbr , higher bitrate ,changed cpu preset and almost everything on advanced , tried different filter etc etc) but nothing seem to help. So i'm gonna ask for you guys help , do you know what the problem is? and could you help me if you did?

Objectively, your stream will always look worse to you than to viewers since you are comparing the source to the encoding whereas your viewers have no reference point. I'm sure if you post a VOD it will look fine.

I felt the same way. As R1CH stated - you're going to notice the blurry pixels more because you can see the source of the recording.

Ask some viewers for their opinion if you can.

Just make sure you've got your filter set to Lanczos if you have a decent CPU - it makes a noticeable difference.
