Question / Help 7.1 Logitech Surround Sound Issues

Hey guys, has anyone been able to come up with a definitive fix to be able to stream and use logitech's virtual surround sound drivers without getting what sounds like hollow audio?

Last known fix for surround sound headphones was soldering it into the stereo headphones. (Razer Kraken 7.1 USB, have to reboot to get desktop audio)
