Question / Help 6k Bitrate Good?

My stream can handle 6k bitrate but do you think I should use it? A lot of people tell me that it will cause people with bad internet to buffer a lot is this true? If so please tell me what could possibly happen while streaming at 6k bitrate
 
If you're streaming to Twitch it's fine, since they will provide lower bitrate transcodes for your viewers.
