Question / Help 6700k

Can an overclock 6700k do medium preset with 720/60fps? or I would have to get a 5820k to be able to use a medium preset?

Maybe it should be working, probably from game to game different. But at least you can try. If obs say to high cpu usage it doesnt work. The i7 6700k has a better graphicscard. Which means you could use quicksync instead of your cpu usage. But this gives you less quality in stream

I dont havw the processor yet. I currently using a 2500k and wanted to upgrade.

Im curious if the 6700k can handle a medium preset at 720/60fps

yes its a extreme jump, I see a big different between the i7 2600k and 4790k still. and the 6700k is almost the same just has a better GPU in it. I using an 6700k in my gaming PC OC to 4,6GHz but never streamed with it. But i dont believe you will have a lot of problems with it to stream in this quality you write.
