Hello,
I recently updated to the new version of OBS. Now, OBS crashes within 30 minutes of me streaming. Nothing else hardware or software wise has changed on my PC since the last version of OBS. The crash occurs at random times of high motion after the stream has been running for a while. All the logs and dmp files are attached.
Overview of setup:
(Dedicated Streaming PC)
  • Q6600 OC'd to 3.2ghz (completely 100% stable OC with every Stress Test)
  • 8gb DDR2 RAM
  • Radeon 5850
  • Avermedia C985
  • Standard Keyboard, mouse, and dual monitors.
Any other necessary information will be given upon request.

Thanks,
Salmon

Kind of a bump. Also wanted to add that I also tried a faster x264 preset as the analyzer said to. The error still occurs. And to clarify, it occurs streaming and previewing

We recently did update the x264 dll, and we're trying to investigate whether there's any issues with it. We may put out an update with a different version, not sure yet.

One thing though -- the analyzer wouldn't say to use 'faster', it would say to use 'veryfast' most likely. We usually don't recommend any preset under 'veryfast'.

Thank you. Is there any way for me to downgrade it? Like just replace the x264 dll with a version that worked? Or should I just try to download an older version of OBS? Also, can you link me to the area to download old versions? I can't seem to find it.
Also, I apologize for the confusion. When I said a "faster" preset, I meant one that was faster than what I was currently using, eg. "veryfast" or "superfast".
