I'm trying to record some game footage, and have been having no luck getting it to work at 60 frames per second. I started by recording at 1080p60, then 1080p60 but downscaling to 720p60, then just at 720p60, each time in an effort to improve the framerate. At higher resolutions, it's choppy and drops frames, which I can accept. But at 720p, the video stutters and jumps noticeably almost exactly once every second. I'm not sure what's causing this, and so I haven't been able to fix it.
Recording goes with no trouble at 30 fps, so I might give up and do that. But I'd really rather try to make 60 fps video work instead, if possible. Does anyone have any advice?
