Question / Help 50% frame drops on high end machine, low CPU/GPU load. Any tips?

Hi everyone. Brand new user. I'm experiencing enormous frame drops. I'm using a shiny new precision workstation with fairly high end card, on a 4k monitor. In my performance monitor as I record, my CPU and GPU are very low. Just a measly 20 FPS still gets me a 50% drop, what am I doing wrong? Thank you for any help.

Could you upload a complete log file?
Seems like OBS is using your Intel iGPU (which i would disable). The GPU load in Taskmanager is often completely wrong, so I suggest to double check with GPU-Z.

Plug your monitor into the Quadro, not your onboard iGPU. Ensure your Primary monitor is set to one of the Quadro monitors, OBS launches on whatever GPU the "Primary" monitor is running on

That is a problem, I'm using a Dell Precision workstation (laptop) I can't simply disable the integrated GPU
