Although live streams are solid, I'm experiencing a 5+ second delay. This simply may be true of any streaming, though want to make certain my setup and settings are adequate.
Here's what I've tried and my system setup...
Windows 10 Pro x64
i7-8700, 6 core CPU
GIGABYTE Z370 HD3P mobo
32 GB RAM
NVMe SSD
GIGABYTE Radeon RX 550 discrete video card
Internal graphics also enabled, though no monitor connected; Intel Quick Sync working (drivers are up-to-date)
6 monitors (1 HDMI & 1 DP connected to discrete vcard), 4 HDMI-to USB 3
TP-Link AC1900 WiFi PCIE Wireless Network Card
Internet Connection:
150/150 FiOS
No VPN
Cloudfare DNS
Under 50ms latency
Testing continually reveals 100/100 connection
Adapter connection speed to router continually 1GB +/-
OBS streaming-related Output settings:
Video Birate: 2500
Encoder: QSV (internal intel Quick Sync); have also tried Software x264 and Hardware (AMD)
Audio Bitrate: 96
Encoder preset: balanced
Here's what I've tried and my system setup...
- Streaming Preview on OBS is immediate
- Streamed to Twitch and YouTube
- Testing on Twitch Inspector is good...stable, 59-60 fps, no problems reported
- Tested on Chrome and MSEdge
