4K Recording Looks Pixelated After Uploading to YouTube

Hello, I'm trying to record in 4K using OBS, but after uploading the video to YouTube, it looks very pixelated. The raw footage on my PC seems fine, but YouTube compression is making it look worse.

My PC specs:

  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB Prime OC
  • RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Vengeance RGB Black (CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K)
  • Storage: Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2 1TB

I'll attach screenshots of my OBS settings in this post.

Does anyone know the best OBS settings for recording in 4K while keeping good quality after uploading to YouTube? Any help would be appreciated!

You have to wait for Youtube to process your video. The lowest resolutions appear first during processing, the highest last - only after processing has finished.

The video has already finished processing, but it still looks pixelated even at the highest resolution available
