I've searched in vain for someone who had the same problem and could not find anything useful so posting here:
Using a Panasonic GH4 for video capture and live stream.
works perfectly in 1080 but would like to input 4K so I can crop my screen and still get a 1080 output
When I set my camera to output 4K, my preview screen in OBS shows only the upper left portion of the captured image.
Fit to Screen or Stretch to Screen does nothing
Can't rescale in order to get more of the camera output
All of this is with a base resolution of 1920 x 1080
When I switch to base resolution of 3840 x 2160 my preview screen goes black and there is nothing I can do to get an image.
So I know my camera is outputting 4K and it is getting to OBS but I can't capture it as 4K
Any suggestions to try?
