Question / Help 4k game recording

I want to record in 4k for just video games, or at least attempt to, and I will run tests.
I don't have a 4k monitor. My 144Hz monitor only scales to 1920x1080.
Are these the correct settings?
Base Resolution : 1920x1080
Output Resolution: 3840x2160

I normally record Source: Display Capture.
Would Game Capture fill the Base Resolution at 3840x2160?
