Hi Guys,

Sorry I'm new here. I recently bought a 4k laptop. I have noticed that some programs including OBS 0.657 do not scale properly on the 4k resolution. I was wondering if there was a fix for this? I have tried google and it comes up with various methods non of which work. See Spoilers for screen shots of what I mean.

Now I know I can fix this by lowering my screen res but why would I go out and buy a 4k laptop and run it at 1080p?
Notice: I have tried to disable display scaling on DPI settings, It did nothing.

This happens as you have DPI scaling enabled. You have to disable it entirely, at the OS level.

This fixes it but makes everything on the computer so small you cant read anything. Most programs scale correctly, but there are a few that dont. I was wondering if there was a fix for this. It wont stop me from using OBS, it's just a minor inconvenience

Yep, that's what DPI scaling is meant to fix. But at the same time, OBS doesn't work with it. There's no workaround available, just turning off DPI scaling.
