Question / Help 4K 60p (4096x2160)

I'm trying to record live streams coming from two 4K cameras through a Black Magic DeckLink 8K card directly to a hard drive. Is this do-able in OBS? What kind of codecs can OBS generate? Ideally it would be nice to mirror the codecs coming from the camera.

That would be a second question: if it can actually handle one camera stream from the DeckLink ... could it capture the second camera simultaneously (given the DeckLink can handle the two streams, which I'm checking now)?

The computer(s) have state-of-the-art processors, very fast.

One instance of OBS can record one stream.

I imagine BlackMagic must have a software solution for this that would be more appropriate than OBS.

OBS can use just about any codec that FFMpeg can with custom output, but it's usually just doing x264.

Thank you kindly Narcogen, very helpful. I'm trying to get through to Black Magic. And good to know that 'one instance of OBS can record one stream'. Should be obvious ... but sometimes I'm surprised when I ask 'obvious' questions. Very much appreciated.
