Question / Help 32bit vs 64bit OBS

Hey guys,

I've been using 64bit obs for quite a while now, but recently I've been in need to setting up the browser plugin, and seeing how that is only a 32bit plugin (thus cannot be hooked up to a 64bit obs) I felt I needed to ask a question:
are there are advantages/disadvantages of switching from 64bit to 32 and vice versa? Any stepping stones, performance differences?

There is, basically, a theoretical difference in performance but it's not much. I certainly never noticed any substantial difference when I was still experimenting between the 2 platforms (I have settled on 64-bit now though).

The 64-bit one theoretically should be the faster one on a native 64-bit OS, yes.

64bit x264 can give up to a 5% increase in performance, that's about it
