Question / Help 32-bit vs 64-bit OBS

I noticed in the newest change log that the 64-bit version can use game capture for 32-bit games now. Is the 64-bit version any faster or better for anything? I'm really just looking for a reason to switch to it.

If you can, use the 64bit version. It's somewhat faster.

x264 I believe gets potentially a 5% benefit from 64bit, but other than that probably not too much difference in general.

5% is not much but hey it's something. And with CPU heavy games any benefit is good. Thanks for the answers.
