Hi guys I'm having lag / Jitter problems with my stream :(
While streaming my games and software all runs very smoothly at the usual max fps state.
My specs: (only listing the relevant)
i7-2700k @ 4.5Ghz /w liquid cooling running stable for 6months now.
Corsair 1600 16G DDR Ram
ATi Radeon HD 6850 1G DDR5
Asus P8Z68 mobo
Logitec G930 Wireless Headsets for audio
My OBS settings: (Mostly default, only listing adjustments)
Quality: 10
Bitrate: 5000
Video res: 1920x1080 (1080p)
FPS: 30/60 (I do not see a difference, by that I mean it jitters either way)
Connection Info:
My own conclusion:
When I run my games like DMC or RE:Revelations or League of Legends it all runs very smoothly. I'm not worried about the setup part as that's all fine and dandy. The problems I'm having is that the live output lags when I try to watch it on another computer or on my iPad. I've even asked a friend to watch it from another location. It just jitters.
I'm guessing the reason is due to the Jitter value from the Latency Checker? Living in Japan, my best connection to any twitch servers are Singapore or US West floating around 90~110 ping with an average jitter of 10ms. As during non-peak hours I do sometimes surprisingly get below 5ms jitter and the lag reduces dramatically. Please advise :(
