I was putting 1000bitrate but a few days ago they upgraded my upload speed to 3 from 2 and now i am able to use 2000bitrate but it kinda lags and if i buy that 5 mbps internet packet how much bitrate will i able to put on? It would definitely be an improvement. With 5mbps upload, you are able to dedicate about 4 mbps for streaming, and this enables you to stream 720p with 30 fps or 60 fps. With a 3 mbps upload, you can dedicate about 2-2.5mbps for streaming, which is just enough for 720p 30fps but not very high quality.

To estimate bandwidth, take into account what applications will use bandwidth at the same time. Add them up, and you get your required bandwidth. Take into account the upload requirements for:
- online game you're trying to stream
- voip
- downloads/uploads running in parallel on same machine
- bandwidth usage by other devices in your lan (family, smartphones, video- and audio streaming)

substract this from the upload bandwidth from your internet connection, and you get the bandwidth that is available to you for streaming. Take only 80-90% from it to get a safety margin. Otherwise you will get lags from time to time and no smooth stream.
