Basically im on the verge of upgrading my system with either 2 new AMD or Nvidia cards and my question is following.

Is it possible for my current Graphics card "AMD 7970 Matrix" to be used in conjunction as a "dedicated" streaming card?

So i will have my 2 new only for the gaming part and then the older on for stream rendering and such?

if you are speaking of VCE, there is a build for that but unfortunately, it will only work as the selected card in OBS's video tab. that being said, the only mode that would work would be "windows capture" with "compatibility mode" enabled.

Here is a link to the fork of OBS:

One more thing to note is that OBS has a very difficult time with capturing scenes from SLI/Crossfire setups. so keep that in mind. If I were you, I would get a single powerful card and with that, use its' dedicated encoder instead of trying to slave out the hardware encoder.

There any guide of how to install all that stuff?
