3-band equalizer is not working to drop low frequencies

This is what I get without 3-band equalizer when talking into my Samson Q2U connected via USB (the spectrum plot was taken in Audacity, which was connected to OBS via monitoring using VB-Audio Virtual):

Now I set both highs and middles to -20db just to see that it works:

Now I return highs and middles to 0, but set lows to -20db:

Comparing to the very first plot, I see that it did not do the job of cutting the low frequencies. What am I missing?

P.S. Here is the Audacity project with all three samples: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1lfz...ey=551lbtr6t15ubbzkr10x02tit&st=5i4em1zx&dl=0

Just did a quick monitoring of the mic and the desktop sound (separately) using the 3 band EQ and it works as intended.
Can you please attach a log file from the moment you did the test?

I figured this out. The trick is to choose a larger size for the spectrum plot.
