Above are my 2 rigs for streaming on OBS studio, I've tried multiple configurations with CPU presets/outputs but with no success in making my stream to look as smooth as most other PUBG streamers. I'm hoping someone could help me out on this forum as I'm pretty new to 2pc stream setups.

Here are my vods of 720p/60fps followed by 900p/60fps

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/179620519?t=02h03m51s

    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/180058771?t=02h07m34s

As you can see there are jitters/lags/blurs when I move around in-game, but when I'm still, the picture looks crystal clear. I've done faster/fast/medium on 720p/60fps and they all look similarly bad when I move in-game. I've also attached log files for the streams. Please advice. Thanks in advance~

I believe you can see most of the settings in the log files? But for reference my output is as follow:

Bitrate : 6000
Keyframe interval : 2
CPU preset : Medium
Profile : Main
Tune : None

Base Reso : 1920x1080
Output Reso : 1280x720 or 1600x900 for the 900p stream
Downscale filter : Lanczos
FPS : 60

Process Priority : High.

Everything else is per default if I'm not wrong.

Alright well how about your in Game settings, is your Anti-Aliasing and Post-Processing set to Very Low/Low in the Game Settings of Pubg?

[Edit] Try that, and then try to Record see if it is still blurry.

And if that doesn't work, it might be your Bit-Rate, looking at your Streams, they are on Twitch, i reccomand to use the Bit-Rate Twitch advices.

AA is high, PP is very low. I'm pretty sure I need AA to be high or ultra so I the buildings etc render without weird pixels. I'm not sure if you've seen the videos, it is not as blurry as it seems. Just on the move there are jitters that I don't really know how to explain. I've never done recording and just really want to stream mostly.

Also how does my gaming settings correlate to my output of my streaming rig?

All twitch streams are available for 6k bitrate regardless of partnership or not now. I don't think that is a problem, more certain software/hardware issue atm.

My apologies i meant Record and or Stream, any how i have watched the Videos that you have posted, and well my advice i got is.

Advice 1: You might wanna lower your Bit-Rate, see if it still is blurry, i would say lower it to 5500 or 5000

Advice 2: Try Streaming using a different Encoder, if you're using Nvenc, try using X264 or vice versa.

[Edit] And i think both your PC's are on correlation.

Your i7 4790k is great but it isn't as great as say... an AMD Ryzen 7 1700x for casting. 720p at 60fps on the Faster CPU Preset is probably the best you're going to do quality wise.

11:47:14.376: [x264 encoder: 'streaming_h264'] preset: medium
11:49:32.118: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 2603/8163 (31.9%)

11:49:49.897: [x264 encoder: 'streaming_h264'] preset: fast
11:52:19.785: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 1303/8899 (14.6%)

On Medium and Fast Preset you're getting what we call Encoding Lag. Where your processor is overloaded based on the settings you've chosen. So the stream will lock up sometimes like you're dropping frames when you watch it live or in your VoD.

720p at 60fps at Faster is pretty much your best that your processor can provide. If you want better quality then you're gonna need to invest in a processor that can handle the encoding load better. My Ryzen 7 1700x can handle 720p at 60fps on the Slow Preset so the quality, at the same bitrate, is much better. But you can't get perfection in PUBG with so much grass around on ANY stream on Twitch. Tunnels and houses will always look fine but grass is a killer to encode. Hope this helps ;-)

Looking at videos, It looks like a blurred 30 fps video. 900p also shows horizontal lines visible. This is likely caused by capturing at 1080i (interlace).

Fix your gaming pc's video output to use 1080p or 720p, not 1080i. Ripsaw USB 3.0 capture card should be able to support 1080p 60fps. If this is not possible for you, OBS deinterlacer can be used.

Can you explain in a little more detail on how to see what my gaming pc's video output is, and how to change it? I'm quite sure is 1080 just not certain whether 1080p or 1080i, which could be the problem. Otherwise I'll try using deinterlacer.

I understand that my processor may not seem decent enough to stream at lower presets, but like I've said I encounter the same issue while using VERYFAST as well. The tests were done with shorter streams and I've since deleted them thinking the MEDIUM or FAST output will suffice for evidence. The same graphical problem persists with lesser cpu usage on this setup.

If both video outputs is from graphics card, one could be 1080i the other could be 1080p, graphics card could output at different refresh rates.

If using a single output from pc with HDMI splitter, this gurarantee the signal will be exactly the same, hopefully 1080p, and the same refresh rate (1080p 60hz).

Check with your graphics settings about refresh rate and resolutions.

Maybe internet search might help. https://www.google.com/search?q=change+refresh+rate+windows+7
But, changing refresh rate while cloned may sometimes change refresh rate of only one of the 2 monitors. Single output with hdmi splitter may be more reliable if you want the same exact signal to go to both monitor and capture card.

I think I might have figured out my problem, the game was being played in 60hz as it was always in windowed fullscreen. I've always played games on windowed fullscreen to let me alt tab easily, but with the 2pc + capture card setup, it seems Fullscreen is required to get 120hz in game. This also leads to a smoother output from my tests and I do fine on 720p/medium now.

Most recent test: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/181114829?t=08m09s
VS
The previous stream test with similar settings 720p/medium: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/179620519?t=01h18m19s

For what you mentioned, I have DVI on my benq 120hz and hdmi to my 2nd Samsung 60hz monitor. But I think I've resolved my issue by going fullscreen in game, which I sincerely apologise for not being able to notice it earlier ~_~

Thanks for many who've given me tips, now to figure out how to sync the sound. Sound is delayed by 1-2s from gameplay. Is OBS studio's audio sync 1200ms still good?
