Hello. I am pretty new to OBS but i streamed few times on Twitch.tv ,with and without plugins. worked perfectly until 1.1.2015.
Now i get an error: disconnected by the server everytime i start "Broadcasting now". ALWAYS after 27 seconds i get a disconnect.
Right bottom corner says 0 kb/s upload.
Reinstallation doesn't help. Program became useless now : / pityful

Windows 7
4gb ram
50mb/s internet (cable)
i5 core

edit: Deinstalled and removed whole directory. all user configs etc. working on standart configuration now. WOW!
edit 2: Not working. Only when i stream nothing, not even my monitor. Once i put up a monitor stream i loose all kbps to 0 !!!

Bump ! Anscheinend bin ich auch nicht der einzige mit dem Mist. Wenn ich auf Streamen klicke, zeigt er mir 2000 kb/s an und sinkt binnen 3 sekunden auf 0 kb/s

admins, be more helpful.. all your response is the same , check
****Dropped frames/disconnecting/lag? Read this first!****

IVE CHECKED IT! nothing wrong with my internet , i tryed all kind of low bitrate.. and if u pay more attention to what people are saying on this forum there is many having issues to this kps, framedrops issues..

i think your support is pretty bad to be honest. Try to help more people or update obs or whatever, because this aint only one having this isssue.

Our response is the same since as the thread says, that's all the advice we can give.

R1CH is correct. As the thread says, that is 100% of the advice we can give. If you're still having issues, contact your streaming service or ISP. There's nothing else we can do. OBS has not changed in over 3 months, so if you're only now getting issues, it's not an OBS problem.

Also, any support given on this forum, including from admins, is purely voluntary. This is an open source project that is community-supported, and no one is under any obligation to offer support to begin with.

alright. I finally streamed now for full 70 minutes.
2:30 AM to 3:40 AM ... i changed the twitch.tv server From Frankfurt to Amsterdam... it began to stream but went to 1 minute and disconnected...
Tried with Paris Server and it was perfect !
Seems like my internetprovider doesnt like Frankfurt since 2015. (Unitymedia) <- Germany

I will try in 10 hours in the main traffic time, again and edit the first post, when it works !

keksit it seems like that unitymedia (german provider) is a big issue because i have the same issue with unity media.. please post here if the server change thing helps you out
regards

EDIT: Paris works for me, but this cant be the solution since the MS is way higher than frankfurt..

So. i tested again. The further away, the better the connection. What the hell is this ? The best connection i had was the singapore servers ?! But with 80% dropframes.
It doesnt make any difference if i plug out my router / or in, or if i turn off any game or skype, hamachi or anything.
In New York i streamed normaly, but sometimes it disconnects for 1 minute. Works for another 5 min and disconnects.

An other streaming service like hitbox.tv makes no difference also.

Conclusion? Unitymedia sucks !
Edit 3: my ISP cant find any issues

Have set my Quality to 7 and uncheked the "Constant rate"CBR box on the "coding" Tab. Works with any Server now while having 0.00 % drop frames, but:
When i start to stream a game i get random disconnects between 2 Minutes and 25 Minutes. Something is really broken here.

Bump!
Seems like Telekom and Unitymedia and Telekom ISPs screwed up their Internet since 2015, which is permanent...

If you get no dropped frames with CBR unchecked, then you need to lower your bit rate with CBR checked.

And it does seem like a lot of Unity Media users are having issues. Perhaps you should take it up with them.
