Question / Help 2560x1080 Black band left, right and bottom

Looking to record my desktop (not gaming) just web browsing loading programs etc, probably in 1920x1080 so not using the right hand side of the screen, however either on 2560 or 1920 I get the desktop clipped, please see image. Am I doing something wrong? I have searched the forums but cant find the answer.
