Question / Help 23.1.0 won't recognize some game windows

I'm trying to set up OBS to be able to record some Bayonetta footage, but it doesn't understand when the game is open and that the window is there when using Window Capture option on the source setup. It does the same thing with 2005 Star Wars Battlefront 2. However, I was able to use Window Capture to get it ready to record New Gundam Breaker and recognized it as New_Gundam_Breaker.exe. This has never happened with an older version on my old computer. Is OBS unable to recognize and record older games now or is there a secret setting I can't see and haven't messed with? Or am I going about the whole thing wrong because I forgot how the 1st time?
