2000 bit rate stream

Hi, I started streaming rescently but my current home has 2.5-2.7 mb upload speed

I have a i9 12-900k
I also have a 3080 12gb

I dont know enough about OBS to go about looking for settings that look good
I have attempted 1024 x 576 with some sort of relative success, but I was wondering what kind of settings i could get away with to get the best image quality out of it

This is how it looks currently, and im currently trying to improve it but not having much success.
Quality test - Twitch

If that is the best i can get then that is fine, but if somebody with more knowledge about this stuff could offer any sort of advice please do ^_^

please post an log

1. Change the refresh rate on your monitor from 144 Hz to 120 Hz and cap your games at 120 FPS
2. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
3. Use the NVENC encoder, Preset Quality. Do not enable look-ahead or psycho visual tuning.
4. If your primary content is games, use the bicubic downscale filter.

Ok thanks I will give all this a try, i did try the NVENC encoder but will try again with the settings you just suggested ^_^

Always check the analizer

Also, you are using a non default preset for the x264 encoder. nVENC is recommended.
And for the bitrate, please use this tool to check you internet connection against Twitch and post a screenshoot:

It attempts to make the OBS output friendlier to other latency sensitive applications (such as your games) on your network by regulating the rate of transmission.

It's gonna take a bit more testing because at 2400 bitrate with this setting it was hovering the area I would be kicked at but I didn't get kicked in 1 run. If I don't get kicked long term it's great but I can tell these settings will be better on my other games so win win :)

The connection isn't suitable for streaming as-is
I take it that means it's impossible to get a descent looking stream at any resolution? If that's the case then what your saying is I can't get better quality then what I'm getting and that is fine, that is why I asked in this forum after all to find out if I can do more.

The log you posted showed no lost packets or connection issues, so the connection in general is fine. Also the video you showed was quite good given the constrains. With a speed of 2000-2500, you will not get much better. You simply need more bandwidth, and if you cannot get more bandwidth with a better internet connection, you're out of luck.

If you're not satisfied with this quality, consider just recording what you intend to stream and not actually stream, then upload as regular video. This way you can get much better quality. However, you cannot directly react live to feedback of your viewers, if you intend to do that. But you can pick up comments from a previous video for your next video.

Thank you for the feedback, I am actually happy with the stream quality, I am not a full time content creator or anything, i was kind of using the streaming platform to try and fight some anxiety as well as creating Vods for me to look back on my own gameplay for self improvement purposes, The disconnections was from the game not the internet and it was literally the ping limiter that is installed in the game that was the main issue, in other games these pings are probably still there but i don't even notice it, and that is why i felt coming to a place that would have more info then me to see if i have missed anything that could help.

It might even be I just cant stream this one game, again that is fine as I don't sweat the game I just play for fun

again, i want to reiterate, thank you so much, your comment was super helpful

Your 12900k should have plenty of headroom. Give x264 a shot, with really low bit-rates it should produce a better picture than NVENC.
