Question / Help 2 pc stream with screen projector

When I project to my elgato it makes my main monitor kinda choppy and laggy and I have been looking for a really long time on a fix for this. Also when I clone my monitor to my elgato it does the same thing it's like when my second monitor is busy it affects my main monitor
