Hi everyone, new to this forum and quite a newbie when it comes to Pc's so please bear with me lol
I have 2 Pcs my main gaming rig connected to 1440p 144hz rog Swift, and my second streaming PC connected to a basic 1080p 60. I pretty much sorted my stream settings using the 4k60pro, 1080p 60 seems do-able. However, now this is where I might have my expectations way off, but if I want to do a normal recording on my stream pc of gameplay from my main pc, my base (canvas) resolution will not go to 1440p, it is either 1080p or 720p, however I have a 1440p 'signal' going through my capture card. I have tried setting a different encoder to my stream one which is x264, and still it doesn't work. I like to upload videos in 1440p but I would like to be able to do it with no hit to my gaming PC (Just to confirm I have checked 1440p in video capture properties. I have been playing around for hours trying to figure this out lol.
Also I have no audio unless I check 4k60pro as my default audio on my gaming PC, but then I can't hear it using my wireless headset which is connected to my main PC.
Help would be seriously appreciated as I've spent close to 1500 quid the past few days and I'm at a loss on what to do. I've tried many things recommended online but nothing seems to make my audio work :(
I7 7700k
gtx 1080ti
HDMI going from 1080ti into 4k60pro on second PC..
Ryzen 7 1800x (HDMI to second 1080p monitor)
gtx 1050
Thank you in advance
