Searching for help with OBS MP and the right settings with avermedia Live Gamer HD Lite.

Set your base resolution to 1280x720 to match the capture card output. Otherwise the video gets upscaled from 720p to 1080p then back down to 720p for no reason (it was already there to begin with). Everything else looks alright.
Changing the base resolution changes the size of the "canvas" you work with in the preview. The video capture source is cut off because you shrank the canvas without shrinking the source. Select it in your sources list and press Ctrl+F to fit it to the new scene size.
